Quarterly Volunteer Opportunities
Requirements:
Teen volunteer assignments are given out each quarter. Quarters run from October – December, January – March, April – June and July – September.
All interested teens between the ages of 13 – 17 years old will need to register online for each quarter at hbpl.org, Calendar of Events, Teen Volunteer Schedule. They must submit a new application each quarter and attend that quarterly workshop. Applications are available online one month before the workshop and must be turned in to the Children’s Desk by the application deadline. Late applications will not be accepted. Teens who do not attend the workshop will not be able to volunteer that quarter. Even if teens have previously volunteered at the library, quarterly workshop attendance is still required. A link with the volunteer time slots will be emailed out each quarter to the teens who attended that workshop. (Please note that we do not accept Court Ordered Service Volunteers.)
