Bilingual English/Spanish Storytime & Playtime

Held on Wednesdays at 10 am for ages 18 months to 5 years.

Dungeons & Dragons for Teens

Calling all heroes, mages, rogues, and goblins! Join our teen Dungeon Masters every Saturday (from 12 noon to 2 pm at Oak View Branch Library) for a weekly session of the popular Tabletop Roleplaying Game, Dungeons & Dragons. Players will build improv and interpersonal skills while exploring new worlds and meeting interesting characters. All teen players ages 13-18 are welcome - no experience required! Space is limited so players must register and be willing to commit to a weekly campaign. All necessary materials will be provided - including a set of dice for each player!

Dungeons and Dragons is a collaborative story-telling game played as a group. Players make their way through a fantasy adventure on their own terms. Explore an unknown world, battle monsters, or unearth hidden treasure—the choice is yours! Your options are limited only by your own imagination.

Through the Teen D&D Club, players will:

  • Develop confidence and social emotional skills,
  • Exercise creative problem-solving,
  • Collaborate with peers,
  • Strengthen math skills.

It meets every Saturday from 12 noon to 2 pm at Oak View Branch Library
