HBPL staff pick excellent books to read, then lead crafts, activities, and discussions based on what the group is reading. The best part? Wise Owl Book Club books are YOURS to keep! Tween S.T.E.A.M. TeamIntroducing our new Tween S.T.E.A.M. Team, a club for tweens ages 8-12 that meets every second Thursday at 4pm in the B Room! Many schools in the greater Huntington Beach area use a measured reading program as a way to track students' comprehension and reading levels. The Huntington Beach Public Library doesn't provide printed reading level information for these programs on its materials, but it is easy to find online! We've mapped out the links to three of the most common reading programs used by our local public schools. Use the links below to find the reading level for a book you are interested in reading for school credit.
