HBPL Storytime Online

Check out HBPL's Storytime YouTube Channel, where you can access storytime from home. Our storytellers share songs, rhymes, stories, and more to keep your little ones busy and thinking!

 

 


Baby & Me Storytime

Join Miss Melissa as she leads caregivers and babies in a variety of pre-literacy songs, fingerplays, and activites.  This storytime is for babies ages 0-18 months. Tickets for storytime are required, and will be available in the Children's Library prior to storytime. Masks required for all attendees over the age of 2.  


Toddler Storytime

Join Miss Kari as she leads a fun interactive storytime just for toddlers ages 18-36 months.  A short Stay & Play time will be set up following storytime in the Children's Library.  Tickets for storytime are required, and will be available in the Children's Library prior to storytime.  Masks required for all attendees over the age of 2.  

 


Preschool Storytime

Join Miss Kari as she leads a fun, interactive storytime just for preschool children ages 3-5 years. A short Stay & Play time will be set up following storytime in the Children's Library. Tickets for storytime are required, and will be available in the Children's Library prior to storytime. Masks required for all attendees over the age of 2.  


Rock n'Roll Storytime

Join Mr. Brian for a musical, movement-filled storytime! This storytime is geared towards children of all ages and their caregivers. A short Stay & Play time will be set up following storytime in the Children's Library. Tickets for storytime are required, and will be available in the Children's Library prior to storytime. Masks required for all attendees over the age of 2.  


Family Storytime

Join Miss Erin as she leads a fun, interactive storytime for all ages. Tickets are required to attend storytime and are available in the Children's dept. All attendees over the age of 2 must wear a mask.  A short stay & play time will be available following storytime.


Creativity Corner

Children ages 4 to 12 are invited to create a new project each week during the Fall Program Session at the Central Library! Visit the Creativity Corner around the Children’s Library fish tank to explore paint dotter art, collage, lacing, googly eyes, and more. Projects take anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes to complete. No registration required; activities available while supplies last. While participating, families are required to socially distance and maintain proper mask usage.

Khan Academy Kids Circle Time

Khan Academy Kids presents Circle Time, aka storytime! Every other Monday, Caroline, Sophie, and friends post a new Circle Time video filled with stories, songs, rhymes, and fun. This storytime focuses on specific concepts and incorporates fun activities you can do at home and in your neighborhood as a family.

No Time for Flashcards Multicultural Books

Multicultural books let your kids see into other children’s lives and imagine themselves in others' shoes. Take time to read and talk about these books, research the countries further, try some new foods, just keep the learning going!
