Main Street Branch Library: Adult Programs at Main Street Branch

Lunch Book Club

The third Thursday of every month.  Come spend your lunch hour with us while discussing a great book. Bring your lunch and a copy of the month's book, we’ll provide desserts!

Coffee and Culture

Join us for our quarterly Coffee and Culture program at Main Street.  This regular event will feature various historical or cultural speakers on topics related to Huntington Beach, Orange County, and Southern California.

Keep an eye on this space for updates on the next topic!

We hope you'll join us for the presentation. Enjoy a cup of coffee while you listen and learn more about Huntington Beach's fascinating past.

*Doors will open at 5:30pm, program will begin promptly at 6:00pm.

Growing Garden series

Join fellow patrons in getting your hands dirty!  The Growing Garden series teaches a new technique for starting gardens, expanding existing gardens, or information about gardening in Southern California.  Erin, the librarian, offers this program every other month.  Upcoming programs feature drought tolerant planning, and plant propagation!

Silent Book Club

We've expanded the Silent Book Club to Main Street Branch Library!

If you enjoy reading with other book lovers and chatting about your current and favorite reads, join us the third Friday of each month. We'll be meeting in the afternoon from 2:00pm to 3:30pm in the program room at Main Street. Walk-ins welcome!
