Many schools in the greater Huntington Beach area use a measured reading program as a way to track students' comprehension and reading levels. The Huntington Beach Public Library doesn't provide printed reading level information for these programs on its materials, but it is easy to find online! We've mapped out the links to three of the most common reading programs used by our local public schools. Use the links below to find the reading level for a book you are interested in reading for school credit. To find out whether your school participates in a reading program, and which program they use, contact your school librarian.
The "Bringing BADM to You" series is designed to help support children's at-home learning through fun, playful activities created by BADM educators. Every activity relates to one of three areas of childhood development – Talk & Play, Science & Math, or Body & Brain.
