Children's Library: Outreach & Tours

Library Tours & Field Trips

Library tours are available for class visits as well as for scouting groups, homeschool groups, and other organizations serving youth. To schedule a tour, please fill out our Library Field Trip and Tour Interest Form. At least 30 days advanced notice is required to schedule a tour. 

Tours can be arranged at the following locations:

• Central Library: School field trips are typically available on Fridays at 10 and should be scheduled at least 30 days in advance of your visit. If your group meets outside of school time, we can work with you to arrange a tour based on staffing levels. 
• Oak View Library: Field trips are typically available on Thursday and Friday mornings. If your group meets outside of school time, we can work with you to arrange a tour based on staffing levels. 
• Main Street Library: Availability is based on staffing levels.

Classroom & Outreach Visits

Huntington Beach Public Library welcomes the opportunity to bring our storytimes and children's programming directly to schools and other community organizations located within Huntington Beach. If you are interested in a staff visit, please fill out our Library Outreach Interest Form.
