The California State Library is providing patrons of the Huntington Beach Public Library free access to Coursera. This is available thanks to funding in whole or in part from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the American Rescue Plan Act or the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian or in part by funding provided by the State of California, administered by the California State Library.
As part of this program, 25,000 Coursera learner licenses for all of California offered over four enrollment periods of 12 months each. A learner’s access time is dependent on when they sign-up within an enrollment period (ex: If an enrollment period starts on Jan 1, 2023, and a learner signs up on March 1, 2023, they will have ten months of access). Learners can re-register for continued access in subsequent enrollment periods. Subscription access is through September 14, 2024.
